Three Wheeled Buggies

MFM reviewer Kath tested the buggy with a newborn and a 3 wheel all terrain buggy year old and found that it was able to withstand cobbles, grass, rough pavements, dirt tracks and kerbs. Kath said it felt solid to push and very stable on difficult terrain. The tyres, that are inflated and require to be pumped regularly they have suspension built-in. This was extremely comfortable for my kids.

Another thing to consider is the size of the seat and shape. The seat should be large enough to allow your child to feel comfortable and allow them to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies have a lie-flat option that allows the child to face you, whereas others only permit a parent-facing option.

The downside of having larger wheels is that they make buggies quite large and may struggle to squeeze through narrow spaces. This could be problematic if you intend to are using it as a jogger, or need to fit through doorways that are narrow while on the move. The majority of models come with compact folding options that allow you to remove the front wheels and store them more compactly.

Easy to manoeuvre

One of the main benefits of a three-wheel buggy is that it's much more maneuverable particularly with a child in tow. I was also impressed with how well it handled kerbs when using the hand-operated break. It was extremely stable when going downhill or on uneven terrain."

The only drawback of this great maneuverability is that the 3 wheel stroller set wheel buggy's larger wheels do sometimes mean that it will struggle in tight spaces, something to consider when you live in a city area. If this is an issue then a 4-wheeler might be a better choice for you.
