Our tester Claire was impressed by the clean, easy-to-open packaging and deemed it to be one of the quickest and easiest pieces of baby gear to put together. She took it out for a spin on some tough terrain and was very pleased with its performance.

Seats

It can hold twins from birth and accept two car seats or a carrycot and seat. The seats must be facing towards the front and there is no room to store a shopping bag under the seat. You will require an additional side bag.

It can accommodate up to 30 seating configurations, and has a built-in ride-on for older kids who prefer to walk, and a 'cinema seating' mode that raises the back seat to allow for better visibility.

The phil&teds dots are brilliant single buggys that can be easily modified to accommodate two (or three!) in multiple configurations. This is especially helpful if you have a baby in your car. Suspension

It's the smallest side-by-side double in the market and it has some impressive technology that includes games-changing LED lights on each side of the buggy frame to increase security in low-light conditions.

The frame's clever design expands to accommodate an extra seat, but still weighs just 11kg. This makes it easy to lift and move. It can also take an infant car seat or carrycot, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds and it will help your budget in the future as you don't need to invest in another buggy immediately.
