2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll, i experienced a big cut in power like the engine is out of gas or injectors are not firing any more. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs, 3 were drenched with gazoline the fourth was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when i turn the engine on without sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump right out. The 4th one stays closed. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55,30/55 and 48/55 I got zero Ohm. I assume that the problem is in another location.
I also tried to reset the PID but with no luck. The car will start when the G28 is not plugged in and it runs perfectly when it is connected, but still has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temp value -49c even when i unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar while the actual pressure is 0.
I'm not sure what to do. I think I've eliminated everything else. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please chime in! TIA!
