Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item level upgrade, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar one and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade items takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They are also available to players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

Leveling
