Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations used.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item level upgrade of equipment, for example increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment using three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in battle, but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to the new gear.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.

Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at once. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be applied and an appropriate amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can add an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. In the same way, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve the perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item upgrade, the game will display an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of that Best item upgrade and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an Best item upgrader in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
