World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade item of an Best item upgrade allows players to boost the gear score of an item upgrader to 700 and also add a final perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to benefit from their unique stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats such as the chance to crit, attack damage, PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. A lot of weapons also come with an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. In some instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon can sustain on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it needs more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons will also reroll the stats of the base. While this is generally a good thing, it can have some negative effects as well. Upgrades can make things unusable, unless you are exceptionally lucky.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to increase their stats. For instance, if you have chests or helms it will boost its defense base while gloves and belts will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor also offers an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it could roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain upon upgrading along with the values of these stats. This means that an upgrade from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining 33% attack damage. However, the 3% doesn't mean that it will be hit for 3 times less often, since it is an absolute statistic.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button that has circular arrows within the item Upgrader Kit menu. This will reroll the item and alter its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's levels or bind to account status.

Armor

A few armor upgrades can make the world of difference to your survivability. Certain sets offer massive boosts to poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, making traversing tough areas a breeze. In general, the more defense you have on your character, the more health you will receive from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four fountains in all, and each requires you to complete a specific side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each level will differ. In general, you're looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a good-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, granting the protection needed to survive a full on raid with a few friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded in the same way as weapons, so you'll have to work on upgrading it for physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're Mage. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades for armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you use to fight the final boss as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to gain some benefits to your armor. In general, you should keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be beneficial to have a few improvements to the helmets and chest armor that let you stealthy battle some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, provide the player with a temporary effect. There are five types of potions, each having particular effects and durations. Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion as well as the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI that allows you to select the potions that you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they will provide when upgraded. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. The same is true for using a potion in the cauldron that is filled. This will drain the potion, and refill the bottle.

Lastly, there are now lingering potions, which are made with dragon breath and splash potions. Similar to lingering potions, the' effect is extended by adding redstone. The table of potions is rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, such as the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also be an ornament or object that serves a purpose, but is not important such as a Thimble. In certain cultures, a trinket can be used to show affection or friendship between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher ilvl after they are no longer useful, and the new trinket will have an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade will cause the trinket to be destroyed until it is salvaged using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying new ones.
