But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. This refrigerator is costly and I was expecting better.

This fridge is a good choice, despite the blip. It boasts a spacious freezer compartment, which is quite uncommon in counter-depth French door refrigerators. Furthermore, it can hold a decent amount of frozen food when compared to similar models.

Inside the fridge, you'll find 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is roughly on what you would expect from an French door fridge that costs this much. It comes with a decent size refrigerator with an ice maker in the left door. But, it's not the largest one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments for an individual storage solution. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is good-looking, too. Its LED lighting is a nice addition, and the in-door storage bins come with the third shelf, which folds down to allow you to store items that are tall. The drawers have temperature controls so that you can set them for Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, but I found their textured plastic coatings a bit difficult on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a full suite of features you'd expect from a fridge at this price with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from any place in the globe. It also offers many options for customization. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked, when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter requires a change.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill, an option available in a handful of other GE fridges that allows you to preset how many cups of water you'd like to pour out simultaneously. It does have an indicator on the fridge display to display how much water have remaining, but that's not as useful as Precise Fill.

Designed to look as a seamless element of your kitchen Bosch's French-door refrigerator looks seamless and is an eye-catching piece. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher for longer, and two compressors for preserving food items. The ice maker we tested was one of the most efficient, and it produces the shape of a pyramid using only water. This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or a kitchenette with a built-in appearance and top-of-the line food preservation.

This fridge was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0°F and never changed more than a fraction - this is crucial to prevent freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well. It reached the initial temperature within an hour and maintained the temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch has a reputation for high-end appliances which is why it's no surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance, with the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi and Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app allows you to monitor and control your refrigerator remotely from your smartphone or tablet. The fridge is expensive, but it offers excellent features and functionality for the cost.

While the fridge is a fantastic appliance, it's important to know the limitations. It has a limited space for shelves, so you'll have to think creatively when storing tall objects. The shelves aren't impervious to spills and could easily be damaged or stained by sharp items. It is easy to take out the trays from the fridge however, you must clean them frequently to prevent mold growth.

It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features the standard French door layout, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give tall items more space. There's also a full-width drawer for products from the deli and an inside water dispenser.

This refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker, making it simple to transfer frozen ice as needed. The freezer also has thoughtful design features, like sliding drawers that can help you organize your belongings. It also has a large bin that can hold plenty of frozen food and an storage bin for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a nice method of monitoring and managing your refrigerator, especially if you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat, but it doesn't necessarily improve the performance of the fridge. In fact, it took longer to defrost and chill food in this fridge than other refrigerators we test. This could be due to the bigger capacity.

The other issue we have with this refrigerator is its doors. The sunken handles allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However taller people will struggle to close them without slamming. It would have been more effective to have front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good option for those looking to combine the advantages of a french door fridge freezer ireland-door refrigerator's aesthetics with a more efficient layout. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a bit cheaper than the most expensive counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, which makes it a desirable choice.

If you're looking for an French door fridge that doesn't cost you a fortune, this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a basic refrigerator that might not be as appealing as its rivals however, it does have enough features to make it a an excellent option. Its most notable characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer that helps keep food items like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated over the two crisper bins, is another great feature. This drawer lets you divert a portion of the refrigerator's cooling power directly into this area, so you can put away food items that require extra attention. This feature can be adjusted using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also alter the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the general settings work better than the specific ones.

During my tests, the temperature of the refrigerator were fairly constant across the different areas of the refrigerator. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray much from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a great performance however it doesn't make it into the top ten in our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat to gain more precise information on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've seen.
