The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it's received praise from customers. It's extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg and it's extremely simple to construct. I was able to get it up and running in under five minutes. This is amazing considering that it included the ability to attach fabric to the carrycot.

The seat is large and comfortable for Annie, who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. There's plenty of room in the basket too and I am awestruck by the fact that it has a zip-up pocket in the handle bar so that you can keep your phone and keys safe!

The handlebar is low, which could be a problem for parents who are taller. However, it's encased with a luxurious leather-like material that's soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, making it still easy to push even with children and bags on your hands!

It's the most recent - and priciest - version of their bargain light stroller range and as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible so that you can use it right from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace boasts some fantastic design touches such as the rose gold hue to the hood, chassis and stroller trims, which truly distinguish it from its competitors. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in tan, grey and cream. You can also choose to add a leather handle and bumper bar to match.

The stroller seat is used from birth until a maximum weight of 22kg. It easily converts to a two-in-one reversible position, either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has various lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy that has hidden zip sections and a transparent flap, and retractable visor.

Furthermore, when folded in half, the Pace is 56 x 43 x 32cm which means it passes for hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among others. It's also easy to fold down, using two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side that you can click into and pop up.

I tested it with my two children eight weeks old and a toddler - on rocky roads as well as grassy wooded paths and even cobblestones.
